What the Autotask integration does
Clients, sites and contacts stay in step with the system you bill from, so the documentation never drifts from the PSA.
Setting it up
- In Autotask go to Admin › Account Settings & Users › Resources/Users and add a new resource with the API User (system) security level.
- Click Generate Key and Generate Secret, and under API Tracking Identifier choose Custom (Internal Integration) and name it DokLocker. Copy the username, secret and tracking identifier.
- In DokLocker paste the API username, secret and tracking identifier. DokLocker finds your Autotask zone by itself.
Every hour, active customers become clients with their locations as sites and their contacts. Prospects, leads, vendors and partners stay out (use HubSpot or the Prospects page for those).
Included in every plan
Every integration is included at no extra cost, on the hosted service and self-hosted. Connect it under Admin › Integrations, click Test, and the first sync starts straight away.
