Why MSPs move to DokLocker
- It keeps itself up to date. RMM, PSA, Microsoft 365, backup and network integrations fill in devices, users, licenses and backup status every hour, so documentation doesn't go stale.
- Every integration is included. No add-ons to buy to connect the tools you already use.
- Cloud or self-hosted. Run it on our hosted service, or on your own server or NAS with Docker. It's the same product.
- Built for how techs work. Network diagrams that draw themselves, a map of which computers talk to which servers, security coverage per device, checklists, and an AI assistant that answers from your own documentation.
- Passwords done properly. Encrypted at rest, every view logged, per-client access rules, and one-time codes stored with the login.
How switching from Passportal works
- Export your passwords as a CSV file. This works with Passportal, Keeper, 1Password, Bitwarden and LastPass.
- Open Admin › Import / Export › Switch to DokLocker › From Passportal or a password manager and upload the file.
- If the file has a client column, each password goes to its client, and new clients are created as needed. If it doesn't (Bitwarden, for example), type or pick the client they all belong to.
- Check the preview, then click Import selected.
Each row becomes a Password record with its username, password, web address, notes, folder and one-time code secret. The file is deleted as soon as the import finishes.
Questions
Can I import my Passportal passwords?
Yes. Export your passwords from Passportal as a CSV file and upload it. Each row becomes an encrypted password record on its client, with new clients created as needed.
Is DokLocker only a password manager?
No. DokLocker is full IT documentation: clients, sites, devices, networks, diagrams, checklists and a knowledge base, with passwords stored alongside the things they unlock.
Who can see each password?
You choose per client and per record which security groups can see passwords, and every view is written to the audit log.
