What the Veeam integration does
Every client's last backup and last good backup show on the device and on one Backups page, with an alert when a job fails or stops running.
Setting it up
MSPs with the Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC): in the console go to Configuration › Security › API Keys, create a key for a read-only user, then in DokLocker add Veeam Service Provider Console with the console's address (the one you sign in at, often on port 1280) and the key. Each company is matched to a client, and the jobs on their Backup & Replication servers and the Windows agents the console manages come in with their last result.
One Veeam Backup & Replication server (an in-house IT team, or an MSP without the console): add Veeam Backup & Replication with the server's address on port 9419 (for example https://veeam01.client.local:9419), and a user with the Backup Viewer role. Needs version 12 or later, and DokLocker must be able to reach the server, so this suits a DokLocker on the same network. Type the client's name, or match the server to its client on the Sync page.
If the console or server uses its own self-signed certificate, choose Don't check under Certificate.
Included in every plan
Every integration is included at no extra cost, on the hosted service and self-hosted. Connect it under Admin › Integrations, click Test, and the first sync starts straight away.
