What the Slack integration does
Alerts about failed backups, expiring domains, devices that went down and syncs that broke go to the channel your team already watches.
Setting it up

Slack: create a Slack app with Incoming Webhooks, add one for the channel, and paste its
https://hooks.slack.com/…address. -
An alert to email, Teams, Slack, Discord or a webhook when a backup starts failing. Turn on Backup failed under Admin › Alerts. You get one alert when a job goes wrong, not one every hour.
Under Admin › Alerts, tick A sync or network scan finds a new device… on an email, Teams, Slack, Discord or webhook channel. Each sync sends at most one message listing up to 10 changes, with a link to the full list. See Alerts and reports.
Included in every plan
Every integration is included at no extra cost, on the hosted service and self-hosted. Connect it under Admin › Integrations, click Test, and the first sync starts straight away.
